Share The Dignity – It’s In The Bag 2017 Christmas Appeal

Share the Dignity is an Australian charity which hopes to make a real difference to homeless women and victims of domestic violence and have set out to make sure vulnerable women and young girls have access to sanitary items.
To make a donation to It’s in the Bag, women (and men) are asked to donate a handbag filled with a toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, pads, tampons, deodorant and soap.

Being a primarily female office, we wanted to be part of this wonderful community cause. 8 bags were put together from the donations provided by our team and as a Shero, Carrie volunteered her time towards collecting bags from drop off points and delivering them the charities and organisations that are in need of them.

On the 3rd July, 2016, Carrie our CEO participated in the Stadium Stomp, the ultimate stair climbing challenge to raise money for her chosen charity, Team Kids. Carrie endured the challenge of taking on 6,000+ stairs around Adelaide Oval in an effort to show her support and raise money for her friend, Remiko and daughter Allira.

Team Kids is a fundraising platform for the Women’s and Children’s Hospital Foundation, raising money to support the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide to ensure that mums, children and their families have access to the very best in medical care, hospital facilities and support services at a time when they need it most. While generous donations have been raised to help Allira get the very best in medical care, there are many children that require funding to guarantee that they live the very best life they can. Horner Management are strong believers in supporting the community. Susan has been an avid supporter of the Flinders Medical Centre in recent years. Donating her time to help raise much needed funds for the hospital and research programs.
